Thandeka Dladla is a multi-talented singer and composer hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa, possessing a gift that transcends the ordinary.
Born and raised amidst a rich tapestry of South African culture, she was influenced by her parent's love for music which ignited her lifelong pursuit of sonic exploration. She embarked on formal training in classical music from the age of 12. Her dedication and talent led her to pursue a BMus in Jazz Performance at the esteemed University of Cape Town, honing her skills and broadening her musical horizons.

Thandeka's ethereal voice, an instrument that connects and bridges partitions, has resulted in her performances attracting multicultural audiences of diverse ages. Her voice carries a profound emotional depth, layered with introspection and meaning.
From intimate performances in local cafes to commanding stages of renowned music venues and festivals her alluring gift as a performer has earned her a dedicated following.
Dladla is also the lead singer for the Unity Band, a collective releasing their highly anticipated sophomore album, "Breaking Bread" in 2023. The album has caused a stir in the South African Jazz scene, earning them acclaim and further establishing their presence in the music industry after their debut album “Fabric” in 2019.
In the Spring of 2023, Thandeka Dladla released her solo debut album ‘Umnikelo’ firmly setting her mark in the industry.
